From Fairlawn Inn: "The Inn was purchased by its current owner and innkeeper Chuck Tomajko in December of 2002. Since this acquisition Chuck has upgraded every area of the house and property. He has added five fireplaces, a Jacuzzi tub for two in the Glenwood Room, many gardens, a patio, comfortable porch furniture, and much more. The common area rooms have one of the added fireplaces and the game room a new custom made billiards table. The Inn features nine bedrooms; several include fireplaces, all with private en-suite baths, four common area rooms, gardens, and many porches where you can relax. A full gourmet breakfast, made to order, is included. Two rooms are pet friendly. The Fairlawn Inn lies in the shadow of Hunter Mountain, the second highest mountain in the Great Northern Catskills."

The Woodbine Inn, a Pet Friendly inn, is located at 144 Malden Ave., Palenville, NY 12463 in Green County in the upper-Hudson Valley.
From The Woodbine Inn: A Bit of History The Woodbine is one of the area's few remaining Inns and Boarding Houses that date from the 1800s. In its colorful past it has housed painters of the Hudson River Landscape School and the bar was a watering hole for notorious prohibition gangsters such as Legs Diamond and Dutch Schultz. In its long lifetime the Woodbine has operated as speakeasy, honkey-tonk, flophouse, and Jazz club. The oldhouse piano was signed "To The Gang at The Half Note” by Louis Armstrong's bandman Shorty Jackson. The rock group NRBQ played many sessions at the Woodbine, and the venue was shut down frequently during its years as a rowdy punk club. A full, loving renovation in 2004 has brought the Woodbine gently into the 21st century, complimenting and restoring its 19th century charm. The bar now operates for private functions only."
