"Grayson Family Farm raises Belted Galloway beef cattle. Our family chose the Belted Galloway breed as they are excellent grazers, are double coated to protect them from the elements of weather, are docile, and produce premium lean beef.

"We believe that our food should be grown in keeping with the way nature intended. The cattle live peacefully on the farm pastures of our 70 bucolic acres set in the mountains of Eastern New York’s Taconic range. Our cattle feed on pastures with a variety of grasses. Our use of a rotational pasture system provides fresh pasture for the cows and is best for the animals and the environment. The hay we cut from the land, feeds the animals during the winter months. To maintain good health from calf to adult, they are fed all natural minerals. It is ironic that in this “high-tech-age” we have chosen to raise our animals this way. But, it’s worth it to us. The animals are healthier and the taste of the beef reflects that. Enjoy the great flavor of grass-fed beef. It’s lean and tender and it is very healthy for you; with lower saturated fat and cholesterol."
