"The Inn at Stone Ridge, our 18th Century Dutch Colonial Mansion, offers an excellent restaurant and cozy tavern on the first floor of the main house, and six suites- three two bedroom suites and three one bedroom suites for a total of nine bedrooms, each with a king or queen sized bed. All suites have a private bath, and some have wood burning fireplaces, televisions, & parlors. Our Carriage House is a very large two bedroom suite with a full kitchen.

Nearby attractions and activities include wineries and wine trails, hiking trails, biking, and horseback riding, Bike, hike, ride, and in the winter, cross-country ski across the beautiful Wallkill Valley Rail Trail.

We all associate Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, French Fries, and of course Apple Pie with American food. When the weather allows, in addition to Hamburgers and Hot Dogs, we often barbecue food that includes: Chicken, Ribs, Corn-on-the-cob and the rolls that go with this food. Ethnic cuisine has become uniquely American. Many cuisines have evolved from different cultures and even ethnic food is different throughout America. Barbecue is different in the South and the North. Chinese food is different in San Francisco and New York City, and is very different from Chinese food in China; and the list goes on. Many people think of our traditional Thanksgiving Dinner as a good example of Traditional American food. We eat Turkey, Sweet Potatoes, Corn Bread, and Stuffing and don't forget the Cranberry Sauce! However we define Traditional American - just give me a Hot Dog topped with Mustard, Relish and pile on the Sauerkraut.
