We were simply incredulous that the gas for the stove was depleted on the Labor Day holiday. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the fries and sweet potatoe fries ordered with our entrees. Instead we had salads thrust upon us without warning. I hate salad. The dessert of creme brulee must have been out of a box from the supermarket. While they made a noble effort to compensate by not charging for drinks the dining experience was ruined,

The garden was closed so we opted for the front porch as it was a beautiful day. As the porch must be at least 150 years old, it was like a very bumpy ride on an airplane and every time the heavy waiter came out we hit turbulence. Not good for the digestion! As we had an interminable wait for food, this was quite often. The food was only so-so and we opted for dessert elsewhere in order to deplane quickly.
